Bush Sad He Missed Out on Coverup Opportunity

It's a pretty familiar story, I think, yet another one is being accused of wrongdoing. But this time, he was stupid enough not to inform the president so he could cover it up.

"When I heard the story last night, I was shocked, and my first reaction was one of disappointment, deep disappointment - if it's true - that we were not fully informed," Mr Bush said on Saturday.

I love this, he's not sorry it happenned, he's sorry he wasn't in on the fun. We're sorry Mr. Bush, you'll have to find somebody else to cover up for. Maybe distancing himself is a new direction for him...first Cheney, now this. Scandals that the man doesn't know about? Wow. That's a new one.

Happy Belated

18th Birthday to Victor!

That fateful night in February... when you were probably up late watching Hyori music videos and I was probably browsing Daily Kos... we came up with the title "Decaf Democracy" for the blog that I had been itching to make. I always have, and still do, out-write you by a huge margin, but you always turn up here and there with your typical philosophical/sarcastic blurb. You make my life absolutely miserable during 5th period, but econ just would NOT be the same without you and your Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert-related comments. It's amazing how you stay so consistently YOU when writing about anything from girls to school. You're 18 now, so keep in mind that those underclassmen "sluts" are probably illegal for you now.

Happy Belated Birthday.
