The funniest paragraph in a news article

U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill to cut American dues to the UN in half, unless the UN agrees to a series of reforms to prevent the scandals and corruptions. The White House has opposed the cutting of UN funds, and the a Democratic representative's alternative (that would have left the fund-cutting decision to the Secretary of State) was rejected by House Republicans. The bill's passage is uncertain, as it will have to pass through the Senate.

And in the Washington Post article:

"Far from promoting justice and respect for international law, the United Nations has become one of the world's greatest apologists for tyranny and terror," said House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, R-Texas. "The U.N.'s corruption is so breathtaking in its scope as to be almost universal."

I wonder if the reporter purposely put in that quote...
