Wait, who was Alito again?

I almost forgot about his nomination...

Samuel A. Alito Jr., President Bush's nominee to succeed Sandra Day O'Connor on the U.S. Supreme Court, told his Senate confirmation hearing today that he has no judicial agenda and pledged to administer justice without regard to the power or wealth of those before him.

In an opening statement to the Senate Judiciary Committee, Alito spoke mainly in generalities and made no specific references to the key issues on which senators said they wanted to question him when the confirmation hearing continues Tuesday.
