Christie's new love...

Air America Radio on 960 AM Quake

(Sorry Monte... But listen to ten minutes of Al Franken or Randi Rhodes, and you'll see why ^.-)

I have awful radio signal from my window, so I never even gave the San Francisco-based station much thought. But apparently, my lovely Nissan Altima (which, despite a minor "bump" is faring very well and in need of a carwash) picks up the station very very well. Meaning... It's Al Franken in morning (Jerry Springer if I'm up a little earlier), Ed Schulz all early afternoon, and the incomparable Randi Rhodes in the late afternoon drive home from internship, etc.

It's been all about Karl Rove, but you'll be amazed at how much new things they can come up with. All about twists and turns. Makes your blood boil, which makes for questionable driving conditions, but also intellectually stimulates the mind. Also makes me feel very incompetent compared to these geniuses. Who wants/needs Karl Rove (especially now that one of his many dirty deeds is out in public) when they've got fast-talking, good-humoured, sharp-tongued, and quick-thinking political commentators?

So that's my brief love-post to Air America Radio- talk radio for the REST of us. (And by the recent numbers, a MAJORITY of Americans)

Uhh...

Recently, the third ranking Republican in the Senate, Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania, blamed the Roman Catholic Church's sex abuse scandals on "liberalism" in bahston. This week, Santorum repeated the comment again.

Priests, like all of us, are affectedby culture. When the culture is sick, every element in it becomes infected...it is no surprise that Boston, a seat of academic, political and cultural liberalism in America lies at the center of thestorm.

All i have to say is uh....wtf.
and more thing to say: Ted Kennedy, continue your demands to that damned pennsylvanian for an apology. I demand it.

Edit: Oh, and one more thing to say: Dammit, i can't get the quote thingy to appear right.

Edit #2: quote thingy fixed
