A brief interruption.

Composing these entries take up more time than I care to admit. Time that I unfortunately don't have.

I hesitate to do this since there's little going on here as is, but it would be unwise of me to continue neglecting my obligations. I'll try to drop by every now and then over the next few days, perhaps with a bit of commentary on the Wyoming caucus and Mississippi primary.

George may pick up the slack in the meantime. He has expressed interest in writing one or two posts regarding the current field of presidential candidates. I hope to return in a week or so with coverage on the CA Supreme Court case on gay marriage and the SCOTUS case on the 2nd Amendment.

While I rather enjoyed the opportunity to breathe new life into this place, I'm not immune to the confines of academia. There's much work to be done, and it must unfortunately take precedent.
